DeMars Guitars at 2006 Summer NAMM (Jul 2006)

Although DeMars Guitars did not have a booth at the recent Summer NAMM in Austin TX, we had the unexpected opportunity to have our instruments at two amplifier booths for demonstration purposes.

Nick Epifani of Epifani Bass Amplification was interested in having our Long Trail Bass Guitar at their booth to demonstrate the use of their remarkable amps ? notably the UL-502 head with UL-410 cabinet – with a piezo-equipped instrument.  At the very busy Epifani booth, our 4-string bass was played by such notables as gospel bass legend Andrew Gouche (Madonna, Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan), Richard Ruse (Scott Henderson, Bon Jovi), Jonathan Herrera (Bass Player magazine) and Victor Kelly, among others.

Greg Farres of Ultrasound Amplifiers utilized the sonic richness of our Viridis Guitar at their booth to demonstrate their stunning new CP-100 acoustic amplifier.  The Ultrasound booth attracted such guitarists as Bobby Stanton, heavy metal virtuoso Ronny North, Eric Erdman (UgliStick) and fingerstyle guitarist Jeff Linsky, all who played the Viridis Guitar.

DeMars Guitars will again be exhibiting at the upcoming Winter NAMM, to be held in Anaheim CA from January 18-21, 2007.
